IBA Faculty Leads Nationwide IBA STEM Circles Nurturing the Passion for Learning Among Students

August – September, 2024: In a rapidly advancing scientific landscape, fostering critical thinking and logic is essential. IBA STEM Circles, initiated by Dr. Shabana Nisar, inspires curiosity and appreciation for STEM subjects among middle and high school girls from public schools, while exploring diverse career opportunities in the field.

Through engaging volunteer activities, the initiative aims to cultivate scientific reasoning and a passion for learning. Recently, Associate Professor, Mathematical Sciences, SMCS, Dr. Shabana Nisar, visited schools in Gilgit, Quetta, and Karachi as part of our efforts to expand IBA STEM Circles nationwide. This initiative promotes subjects such as Science, Physics, and Mathematics, providing hands-on learning experiences for students who need it most.
